You know the feeling. At the gym and on the elliptical (because you have knee issues) and you just want to give up, wash up, and leave. But you do not give up. You do not get off. You finish, and faster than before.

This scenario is common enough. The trick to overcoming the 3/4 way finished fatigue at the gym is…drumroll…exactly: music. The following songs are my trick. When I want to give up, I listen to the music and imagine that I am the music. I become the music. I am moving the sound of the music. I forget about my body. I am the music. Here are the jamz that transport me out of myself so I can push myself over the hump:
