My Past Life Sample Reading

17 Aug

According to the stars, planets and the time/date/location of my birth:

Section 2: The Inner You: Your Real Motivation

Sun in Gemini:

Your mystical, intuitive and spiritual sensitivity arises from your past lives, perhaps in early Roman times, or in the Egyptian/late Atlantean period. Then you may have been a seer with expertise in the religious mysteries of the day and in healing through the laying of hands. Your likely interest in group meditation, symbology, holistic health, and astrological timing arises from such past life experiences.

From your afterlife experience in the Neptune dimension, your imaginative urges create strong mystical impressions within you. At times, Emily, when you meditate or simply rest, the actions expressed in your visions and daydreams may elicit such intense emotions that you may feel as if you had actually experienced them.

Since Neptune is a higher octave of Venus, ruler of the arts, your Neptunian attunement and sensitivity give you abilities related to the arts in virtually any direction, whether as an actor, a dancer, an artist, musician or art critic.

Although you would do well in any creative endeavor, you are also gifted with healing power, especially in applying, for example, music and color to emotional disturbances. Hence, combining analytical or depth psychology with your creative and mystical sensitivities may suggest fields that will bring you deep understanding, if judged from the spiritual side.

You may also achieve a great deal through service for others, caring for others, helping those less fortunate. To be a channel of blessings to others is the purpose of every soul coming into the material world. For you particularly, serving others may have special rewards. If it is in keeping with your ideals, you would gain much in service involving an organized charitable institution or missionary branch of a church denomination. Public leadership involving large organizations through speaking to groups and writing is also indicated.

In addition, Emily, things that come over water or upon water are likely to be significant in your experience. Travel and law, especially in connection with these, should also be a portion of your activities.

The following excerpt from Alan Schneider’s book Doors in Disguise builds on his discussion of the Creation Diagram. This diagram, shown on the left of the page, includes the seven major chakras and the triad, diad, and monad. In this excerpt, he relates this diagram with conscious existence.

Balance

Alan Schneider

One of the interesting characteristics which can be noted about the symbols on the Creation Diagram is the fact that they all display what the biological sciences refer to as radial symmetry, that is, they all are uniformly constructed around a central point. And the symbols of the Diagram can be said to be harmonically balanced around a common axis. In theory, a radially symmetrical element can be rotated around the central symmetrical axis up to the rate at which the material of which it is composed can no longer remain intact against the resultant centrifugal forces as these increase with that rate. At this point of transition, the element fragments, usually by exploding apart.

The symbols of the Creation Diagram are ideal forms and therefore are not subject to physical destruction. Their “rate of rotation” is shown as “zero” in order to clearly reveal their esoteric form to the Seeker. But in the manifest condition of dense form in the physical plane of expression, all of the symbols are always acting in rotation. This movement is the vibration of consciousness which we experience as the world. Consciousness can be characterized as an interactive vibration of complex physical, spiritual, and mental forms. This is directly related to the combined rates and direction of rotation of the Creation Symbols. When we observe any phenomenon, whether simple or complex, we are always “registering” a global recognition of that phenomenon’s composite vibration, which is composed of the interaction of all the rates and directions of rotation of all of the Creation Symbols which are active in the phenomenon’s consciousness expression. We may or may not be aware of this perception, but it is nonetheless occurring, and the Seeker can make great progress by focusing on the world of events in this way. Additionally, I feel constrained to mention here again that everything is a form of consciousness originating in the Tetragrammaton, even a common pebble, a speck of dust, or an atom.

“We are all free to live in illusion, and we are all free to Seek the Truth.”

A Synthesis of Research and Reading:

kheper-i kheper kheperu kheper-kuy m kheperu n Khepri kheper m sep tepy…

“[when] I became, the becoming became, I have become the becoming [the form] of Khepri who came into being on the First Time…

…when I became, the transformations became, all the metamorphoses coming to pass after I had become.”

-translated Lucy Lamy, Egyptian Mysteries, p.14

  • In hieroglyphic writing kheperrepresents not only the sacred scarab “but also all the metamorphoses or transformations of which it is the symbol, as wll as the idea of becoming, in general. The word kheperthus means “to become” in all possible verbal forms, while Khepriis the entity embodied in the sun as it rises in the morning, when darkness becomes light.” Lucy Lamy, Egyptian Mysteries, p.14 (Art and Imagination series, Thames and Hudson, 1981)

When all is said and done, the final Synthesis for this particular universe in general (and for this website in particular) is one of love.

Unconditional, Unlimited, Universally-Connected Love.

The Tree of Life

Diagram by Brad Reynolds, from Ken Wilber, A Brief History of Everything, (Shambhala: Boston), 1996.

Here we have a basic spiritual cosmology consisting of physical reality; intermediate or psychic reality; spiritual and Divine reality; and Absolute Reality or Godhead or Source. (see also the Three Tier Model, which is identical to the above except that it does not include Spirit/Infinite as a sperate hypostasis). As Professor Smith points out, each of these levels of reality can be studied separately:

“The marvels of the terrestrial plane are being unveiled at an astonishing rate by the physical sciences. The intermediate realm adds life and consciousness: biology helps to understand the former, and for light on the latter we turn to the durable findings of phenomenology, depth psychology, and parapsychology, as well as aspects of shamanism and folk religion. The theologies of the great traditions describe God’s knowable nature (the celestial plane) from a variety of cultural angles, and the literature of mysticism carries the mind as far as it can journey into God’s absolute and infinite depths” [ Beyond the Post-Modern Mind, p.45].

In this all-embracing gradational metaphysic, we have a way of looking at the world totally different to the conventional Materialistic or Dualistic stance. Borrowing a popular Theosophical term, I use the word “Esoteric” to indicate this alternative way of perceiving things.

DESCRIPTION

The Two of Wands glorifies individual courage and greatness. This card taps the same energy as the Magician, but with one important difference. The Magician represents the archetype of power – the impersonal energy of creativity and strength. The Two of Wands stands for that power brought down to Earth and made personal. Personal power is an invigorating force that fills you up and lends you the courage to be great. A powerful person is like a magnet that attracts all those within a certain area.

True power always comes from the Divine. It passes through us and then flows out into the world. When we understand this relationship, we are blessed because this flow brings with it a tremendous feeling of expansion and fulfillment. We feel as if we can accomplish anything. Problems develop when we forget that we are not the source of power, only its conduit. We must be careful not to let the intoxicating feelings that come with power overwhelm our good sense and blind us to our true desires and intentions.

In readings, the Two of Wands indicates that power is a major issue in the situation. You or someone else has it or wants it. When you see this card, look carefully at your goals and activities to make sure you are using power wisely. Don’t support power for its own sake, but enjoy it when it serves your worthwhile purposes. Take this gift and use it to mold your environment in positive ways.

The Two of Wands can also stand for an extra dose of daring and inventiveness. When you see this card, trust that the time is right for the bold, creative move that will knock their socks off. Forget subtlety and old, tired approaches. Allow yourself free rein and you’ll be amazed at the results.

Saturn in Retrograde: Progressed Ascendent into to the New Year

12 Jan

INTRODUCTION: PROGRESSED CHART

Your Personality Profile is revealed by the imprints of the planets in your NATAL Chart. The NATAL REPORT is a projection of “Personality Potential” and can be compared to a “Blueprint” of a building that is being planned for construction. At different stages of development while the building is being built, certain additions, deletions and/or other changes may become desirable (or even necessary) and the original blueprint may be modified to accommodate those changes. And so it is with your personality as indicated by your NATAL Chart. During the “building” of your life, your personality is being developed, and the imprints of the personality blueprint are being modified and/or changed, both by your own choices and by circumstances beyond your control.

The progression of the planets as they continue their respective orbits into different signs and houses, and the aspects they form, are beyond our control. But we DO have some control over how we handle these new influences, and how we let them affect our personality. In order to deal with these influences, it certainly would help for us to know WHAT these influences are, and WHEN we will have to deal with them. The PROGRESSED REPORT provides that information: the WHAT, the WHEN, and (in some reports) the HOW.

Now, for the first time, we have a Progressed Report that not only tells us WHAT, WHEN, and HOW–it also tells us HOW LONG! It locates the signs, the aspects, and the house positions for each of the planets for any given year of your life and tells you how long they will remain in those positions. With each of the interpretations for these progressed planetary positions, we include a brief synopsis of the influences and imprints of its position in your Natal Chart for your comparison.

Many techniques for following the development of man from birth through life have been devised and studied by Astrologers since about the second or third century BC. The technique used in this Report is called “Secondary Progressions”. This system uses the “Day for a Year” process which appears to have been practiced since Ptolemy and Copernicus, and was supported by the German mathematician Johannes Kepler (1571-1630). The system is implemented by choosing a specific birthday. We then count a day for each year of your life, and cast a chart for the “progressed birthday”.

The Progressed chart is the first chart used in Predictive Astrology, for it provides a good preview and overview of what you can expect in the coming year. We feel that the Progressed chart provides the first step toward using Astrology for a better and more fully informed way of living life — AS IT UNFOLDS.

When combined with information obtained from a “FORECAST REPORT”, OR “TRANSIT REPORT”, which interprets the aspects of the transiting planets (where the planets actually WILL be at any given time), we can get an extremely comprehensive body of predictive information for any “progressed year”–and beyond.

YOUR PROGRESSED ASCENDANT

Like the Sun-sign, progressing the chart will change the sign on the cusp of the first house, your Ascendant. It will also bring influences of the new sign into play upon the personality in changing, modifying, and “blending” experiences. Each time a new sign “rises” on the first house, you may feel a little disoriented, especially during the first year or two. This is because different methods, or “styles” of operating in interpersonal and business transactions can vary considerably under the influence of different Rising signs. Since the Ascendant represents the face (the “Mask”) we show the world, others may begin to see us in a different light before we become aware of any changes in ourselves.

Unlike the Sun’s thirty-year cycle, the change cycles of the Ascendant may not be as predictable as the Sun, since the houses may have more, or less, than thirty degrees.

The Rising sign in the Progressed chart determines the signs on the houses, just as it does in the Natal chart. Each time the Ascendant changes, the sign on the cusps of the other eleven houses may change, also. The interpretations of the signs on the houses will give some clues regarding the affairs of each house during the year for which the Progressed chart is cast. These signs on the cusps may not change very much from year to year due to the slow movement of the progressed chart.

Your Progressed Ascendant is now at five degrees of the sign, Aries.

PROGRESSED ARIES RISING WITH NATAL ASCENDANT IN AQUARIUS–People with Aquarius rising in their NATAL chart can be so far ahead of their time that they can be considered eccentric. Other people see you as being inventive, spontaneous, original, and unique. You appear to others to have an approach to life that makes you “different” from other people. You seem to have an energy that is hard to classify and harder to control. You may be labeled by others as “Far Out” for you can be a pioneer in many areas of your life, including the way you dress. The impact made upon lifestyles by the so-called “hippies” has been world-wide, making the informal and unconventional accepted and commonplace. You need to learn to understand your internal rhythm, since you must have the freedom to be spontaneous. Others see you as creative and independent.

Aries is the first sign of the Zodiac, and those with this sign rising in the PROGRESSED Chart will always want to be first. The person with this Ascendant is a natural pioneer with the daring and courage to risk uncharted territory. This one fights the battles, breaks the ice, and paves the way for those who follow. To others, you appear direct, straightforward, assertive, and usually completely aboveboard in all your dealings. You project a confidence that may sometimes appear arrogant to others, and you often act impulsively. Others see you as being much stronger than YOU usually feel you really are. You appear to them to be either a leader or a loner. Without action, you become impatient, bored and frustrated. Others may not see that your anger turned inward can cause hostility, jealousy, and depression, which could cause you to seek release in destructive ways. Remember, the influences of the Rising Sign are more likely to indicate how you appear to others than how you actually see yourself.

Before I Go Downtown, Some Astrology:

31 Dec

Projection of Your Real Self

Sometimes showing the world who you really are is not easy, and sometimes the world may not respond as you had hoped! It’s helpful to take a look at the differences and similarities between the attitudes, impressions and images you project and the person who resides at the core of your being.

With your Sun in Gemini your inquisitive manner and quick wit may be your trademarks. You need variety, and whether in relationships, career opportunities or creative endeavors will prefer to create a life which gives you plenty of options. You may radiate an air of intelligence, and most enjoy people and situations which stimulate your mind. The old truth, “you are what you think,” is especially clear to you, and you have the ability to shift your consciousness and create a whole new realm of life experience by first altering your mental focus.

Your Ascendant is the face you present to the world, and shows how others see you.

Your Ascendant, or rising sign, is Aquarius. You may be quite avant-garde and can be a trendsetter. It’s possible that your disdain for the traditional and affinity for the unusual can leave an impression of eccentricity. You can carry it off, however, because you’re not meant to follow the cookie-cutter patterns: you’re creating one of your own! Freedom is highly important to you, and your need for spontaneity enhances your ability to find the truly unique elements life has to offer.

Uranus, the planetary energy associated with your rising sign, is in Capricorn in your chart. Although you may want to be seen as an individual, you may approach the creation of your image through more traditional means. You value your freedom and may not be willing to risk doing absurd things that might compromise your ability to maintain your independence.

With your Sun in square aspect to your Ascendant, you may sometimes feel that everyone is always on the defensive with you. You may even have learned to avoid asserting yourself just to avoid the pain of confrontation. But there are times when you do need to take a stand or when you need things to go your way. Learning to ask for assistance is quite different from demanding it, and you’ll gain greater support from others if everyone feels empowered.

DID I LIVE A PAST LIFE?

Chapter 1: The Sun
Your Sun is in Gemini (Tropical zodiac).

Coming as you do under the double sign of Gemini, there are likely to be two natures within you as far as your inner, subconscious urges are concerned.

Also, Emily , as in other Gemini children this tendency toward double-mindedness at times may find expression in inclinations to change your mind and overspeculate about things. With application of your will, these inclinations can be curbed.

Now, you were probably part of European culture during the Middle Ages, when there was considerable action and adventure, for example in the continual feuding and strife among the many fiefdoms, families, tribes, castles and kingdoms comprising Europe before its present consolidation into several nation-states
