Conversation on the Stoop [FREE WRITE PM]

She hunches over the railing of the front porch, flicking the butt of a cigarette into a ceramic ash tray. “Em, do me a favor and get me my wine so I can swallow it. I forgot where I put it.” I do as I’m told–Grandma barely asks a favor in a day, and I’m happy to fetch her request. Handing it to her, I reply wryly: “You said swallow it, like it’s a pill.” Grandma laughs. I laugh. Truth is funny even when painful in the bright light of a dark night.

Last night, I had a dream featuring thematic and archetypal symbols that have entered my unconscious mind a few times a week for the duration of about three months. The bird. Flying like the line that draws the third dimension: neither delineating latitude nor longitude, but drawing a diagonal trail like the axis of the earth.

Attached to the birds’ wings are two water baskets shaped like cauldrons, filled to the brim with water that spills of the sides. The bird would not be weighted. The birds’ intent and determination manifest in the miracle of lifting itself through the air, as if the anchors attached to its wings were boeuys, not baskets.

I was the bird. I have become the bird in dreams before, where its death transitioned into my life. My grandma’s name is Bertie.

We are facing different directions. I ask my grandma on the other side of the stoop why I am different from my Mom, Dad and Brother, and always have been. A pause precedes her response: “Maybe God put you here to do something that they weren’t put here to do.”

Science vs. Conscience

The Faraday paradox (or Faraday’s paradox) is an experiment that illustrates Michael Faraday‘s law of electromagnetic induction. Faraday deduced this law in 1831, after inventing the first electromagnetic generator or dynamo, but was never satisfied with his own explanation of the paradox.

The scientific method juxtaposes the very logic of the scientific method. Yet again, science proves truth, and science proves truth (simultaneously) false.

The scientific method is a strong, and more or less credible way to understand the state of now: for what we know, we do the best we can, in the process, of understanding, what we know, but have yet to concretely realize.

Albeit, Truth is Change. A testament to history and history’s testament exemplifies that, yes, Truth Changes.

Change, naked and alive, change alone and change–nothing more, forever more, no truth proves itself again legislative time and intentions:Truth IS Change.

And Change is Truth too.

Reciprocity is the good feeling generated in the exchange of equality: a flex and reflex with no splash, true to the nature of itself, truth, in the exchange, change in the exchange, that good true feeling.

Lost and Found Language (free write)

1 Apr

Syllabic leaks in the circus drain, turning rightly to tight and left lost and losing listeners to the volumes spoken in the simple echos marry morphing morphemes chain-link phoneme, a ringing wagging chasing its tail, rounding the rosy sinuous fluency spoken before word warped into blades of black magic.

Listen to the state of the sound. Sepia city signature dismal label Los Angeles, profoundly deaf and numb and plastic pillows billow in the atmosphere, over the eyes and ears and hearts of listeners chasing a diluted vision for  fulfillment.

Sounds are under water, sounds are an undercurrent of sub-conscious grenades. Manipulation of epic defense, mankind the great storyteller, mankind the wrangler of rhetoric, mankind who creates noise grinding gears grinding gears postulating answers sans questioning the question the quest is lost tossed to the wind, where are we now?

Found in a familiar place, afraid of being lost, clinging to comfort in fear of adventure, coating the lush oasis of land with grey hard cold cement to tentative to march, together, to tentative to step into unknown territory without a finger pointed to the institution who owns the deeds.

Where is truth now? What worth remains in the word? Granular metallic and granite, emerald and limestone gems founded in the meaning of sound, a sing-song system of semantic symbolism: would you recognize if you heard?

One universal language sounds like sound sounds like sound sounds like sound: would you recognize if you heard? One universal language resounds within us, what are the vibrations of consciousness if not sound, would you realize your reflection if it passed through you invisible and true?

Break form, allow and follow rhythm within and what could be is the way is intuitive, the internal compass rose knows and glows like love in warm light like a soliloquy  within and between one and one and zero sums one in forever, a recycling sound.

What’s in a word?

Sound.

What’s in a Sound?

The conscience realization of reverberation.

Intention Heals

Excerpt From “Intention Heals”

As proteins are dynamic in nature, they are constantly changing their conformations. Certain conformations enhance the rate of a reaction more than others which we describe as being more enzymatically active. Here’s the important part. This means that just the smallest change in structure or orientation of any part of this protein has dramatic effects on its enzymatic activity and, consequently, our health. Metabolism is based on enzyme (which is a protein) activity and these enzymes are directly influenced by our intentions and thoughts.

Intention Heals: Bright Light

You can now appreciate that there is no such thing as an idle or neutral thought. This should be a huge motivation for you to practice positive thoughts.Specifically, just how are proteins chemically changed by intentions? Every time we think a thought, many chemical reactions occur and every chemical reaction emits light. This has been known for decades. In fact, we use this light-emitting feature to identify a substance by running light through it and observing which light frequencies it absorbs and which light it emits. So a thought actually becomes a “light-emitter.”
